How to Login to MyCCSF Canvas
To log in to MyCCSF, you will have to follow the procedure given below.
- Firstly, Sign Up your account to MyCCSF Canvas. For that, visit the ‘Sign Up’ or ‘Register’ page.
- You will be given a username (without any other characters) and a password (without any character).
- Once you are done with the registration process, you will be automatically logged in to your account.

Course Card And Recent Activity Views
If you want to access the course grades page, you can do the same from the Course Card and Recent Activity Views. Just click on the View Grades button, and you are all done. You can see your complete course through the Global Navigation Button. For that, you have to click on the Courses link in Global Navigation and then select your desired course. Now, you will be taken to the homepage of the course that is set by your Instructor.
There you will see the Course Navigation links and breadcrumb navigation with which you can navigate to different portions of your course. You can do the same with the help of the Sidebar too.
To-Do List
You will also see a To-Do List in the Sidebar where you will find all the tasks that you (as a student) need to complete. It includes announcements related to the assignments, discussions, quizzes, pages and all the tasks that require students’ action.
Course Group
A Course Groups option is also there if in case your course includes the grouping of students. In the Course Groups option, you will see the list of groups; you can click on the particular group to open its homepage. There you can see the feedback for your assignments. From the Recent Feedback option, you can see the feedback for your recent work. Or just click on the name of an assignment to see feedback. You can find the feedback on the submission details page of an assignment.
The Global Navigation Menu is also there, which you can use to get direct access to the courses and other portions of Canvas.
Account
From the Account Link, you can modify your user settings, check global announcements, manage your notifications, personal files, and ePortfolios. Also, you can get a QR code to log in to the student app.
When you click back the Dashboard link, Canvas Dashboard will be open. From there, you can quickly access your desired courses and groups with the Groups link.
Calendar
Then the Calendar Link, which shows your course calendar along with your personal calendar.
