If you do not have a tire repair kit and your tire blows out when you are driving, you could end up stuck and unable to repair it yourself. You also need to make sure that you have a spare tire or two stored in the trunk of your car. Sometimes, tire damage cannot be repaired and tires need to be totally replaced. There are courses you can take in tire repair. It is definitely worth taking one if you are new to mechanics and have no idea how to repair and replace tires yourself. You also need to make sure that you have basic tools stored in your vehicle as well as a tire repair kit.

You may also want to carry a signal booster around in your car with you. Signal boosters are devices that can be used to boost cell phone signal and reception in areas where service may not be optimal. These devices are very useful and can be an extremely effective way of getting hold of loved ones to notify them of your location when you are on the move. If you are on a tight budget and cannot afford to buy one of these new, you will be pleased to know they can be purchased used. Used ones are not usually very expensive.
