Alvin Goldman and Social Epistemology

The graduate students at Saint Louis University are now accepting paper submissions for their 2011 graduate student conference, to be held at Saint Louis University on October 20th and 21st. The theme of the conference is “Alvin Goldman and Social Epistemology.” The keynote speaker will be Dr. Alvin Goldman, the Board of Governors Professor of Philosophy and Cognitive Science at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.

Papers in all areas of epistemology are invited, though preference will be given to those on the topics of social epistemology or the epistemology of Dr. Goldman.

Papers should be suitable for a presentation of no more than 25 minutes (approximately 3000 words) and prepared for blind review. Submissions should be sent in a .doc, .docx, .rtf, or .pdf file format to Please include your name, institutional affiliation, and an abstract of no more than 200 words in the body of the email.
